We are aware how much knowledge, time, forces and money are needed for professional carrot growing. We also know enormous risk connected with production of carrot at the highest European level. We understand how much effort and work is required from Polish farmers to prepare soil, sowing and every-day nurture to realize harvest and end months of work.
We have also observed difficulties at late summer and autumn carrot harvest and storing them for months with keeping the highest quality.
Thus, we constructed a harvester collecting the carrots in delicate way even in the most extreme conditions. In our opinion, it guarantees successful sale of high-quality carrots. Out 18 years of experience in selling machines for producers of vegetables allow us to collect valuable advices and remarks given by professionals - they were taken into account while modernizing many of our products. Currently, we want to present first carrot harvester which quickly dominated the market of machines for harvesting root crops in Poland.
Extreme conditions of Autumn 2009 were good for testing of our product in the most difficult parameters of work for years. Many farmers (from Poland and other countries) participated in the conceptual process - basing on their ideas and experience the line of solutions was chosen. Whole creation cycle was supported by employees of AGROTOP-KACZMAREK since their large experience resulted in building efficient hydraulic system. We have done all for SATOR harvester to be able to work in the most heavy conditions. One of our priorities was to create the simplest possible way of removing haulm avoiding clogging. We have also created an operator-friendly digging system making it visible from tractor cabin. Moreover, we have designed fully closed hydraulic system with two-section pump as standard equipment avoiding connecting hydraulic system with tractor what often causes problems.
Most time consumed construction of machine's hears - cutting system. Thanks to that we can unequivocally state that cutting reached the highest level in case of our harvester. Using blades adjustable in three dimensions guarantees high quality of carrot and minimizes clogging of the haulm. It is worth to mention that we used interesting tape in large feeder. Effort put in innovative solutions of SATOR harvester (model XXL) resulted in registering 5 European patents. Our design department achieved its goal by connecting ideas and experience of group of people with own skills, proposing innovative solutions in SATOR harvester. We had only one goal during production - to make a very good harvester for root crops.
